1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Completed It Mate, the operator of Completed It Mate. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised use. Usernames must not impersonate others, contain abusive or prohibited material, mislead people into believing you are an official account, or be used to evade enforcement.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from a failure for which we are legally responsible. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Completed It Mate is not intended for children under 13 to create independent accounts. Users under 18 should have parent or guardian permission where appropriate.
3. Using Completed It Mate
Completed It Mate is a personal completion and achievement service. Cards, Items, progress, Story entries, Decks, Bucket Lists and community comparisons are provided for entertainment, organisation and personal record keeping.
Unless a Card specifically says otherwise, completion is trust-based. We do not generally require proof that an experience happened. You are responsible for marking your own completion information accurately.
Comparisons, percentages and rankings relate to the Completed It Mate community or the comparison group described on screen. They are not claims about the entire population and may change as more people join or complete Items.
4. Content you add
You keep ownership of photos, memories, Bucket List text and other original material you upload. You give us a non-exclusive licence to host, copy, resize, process, display and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate the service, apply your visibility choices and provide sharing features you choose to use.
You must have the rights or permission needed to upload content. Do not upload unlawful material, confidential information you are not entitled to disclose, or content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
If you make content public or create a public share link, other people may be able to view or reshare it. You remain responsible for what you choose to publish.
5. Paid Cards, Collections and digital access
Some Cards and Collections can be unlocked for a one-off price shown before checkout. Payment is processed by our payment provider. Successful payment grants the digital entitlement associated with the purchase to the purchasing account.
Prices and availability may change for future purchases, but changes do not remove digital access already validly purchased unless access must be withdrawn for legal, security or refund reasons.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Any cancellation or refund rights that apply under UK consumer law will continue to apply. Where we issue a full refund for digital content, the associated entitlement may be removed. Partial refunds may leave the entitlement active.
6. Completed It Mate and third-party intellectual property
The Completed It Mate name, logo, original Card artwork, interface, copy, software and other original materials are owned by or licensed to the operator unless stated otherwise.
Cards may refer to films, television programmes, music, albums, books, games, food products, vehicles, sporting events, venues, brands, destinations and other real-world works or products. Those names, trademarks, artwork, photographs, posters, album covers, packaging and other protected material belong to their respective owners.
Where third-party material is displayed, it remains the property of the relevant copyright or trademark owner and its appearance does not mean that owner sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with Completed It Mate unless we explicitly say otherwise. 7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes attempting unauthorised access; interfering with security or availability; scraping or bulk-extracting data without permission; introducing malware; abusing reporting, connection or sharing features; harassing others; creating deceptive or impersonating accounts; or using the service for unlawful purposes.
We may remove content, reserve or change usernames, restrict features, suspend accounts or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, prevent abuse or comply with law.
8. Changes and availability
Completed It Mate is an evolving service. We may add, change or retire Cards, Items and features. We may also need to suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free.
When Card content is corrected or curated, an Item may be renamed, reused, removed from a Card or replaced. We aim to preserve genuine completion history wherever practical.
9. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Completed It Mate does not provide medical, fitness, travel, financial, legal or professional advice. Some Cards may involve activities, travel, food, sport or physical challenges. Use your own judgement, follow appropriate safety guidance and do not undertake an activity that is unsafe or unsuitable for you.
10. Ending or restricting your account
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected abuse, breach of these terms or legal compliance. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain significant account action.
Account closure and deletion requests are handled subject to information we must retain for legal, financial, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the law applying where you live. Nothing here prevents you from using any court or dispute rights that consumer law gives you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, pricing model or legal requirements change. The current version date appears at the top of this page. For material changes, we may provide an in-product or email notice where appropriate.
